Step 3 - Steri-Clean proves your spaces are clean by testing various locations throughout your business with ATP meters.

ATP meters test surfaces for Adenosine Triphosphate which is stored energy found in all cells. While Viruses do not contain cells, we use this tool to measure the efficacy of our cleaning. After we clean all surfaces, we test them for the presence of ATP to assure that our disinfectant is not blocked by biofilms which are invisible clusters of bacteria and germs that clump together on most surfaces. If the reading is low enough, we apply the disinfectant, makings sure the surface stays wet for the appropriate dwell time, and then get a final reading with the ATP meter. This way we know the surfaces have been cleaned effectively.
